Community Sponsor: C2 Makerspace

Omega Thermo Products is proud to support the next generation of makers, engineers and manufacturers by donating $10,000 to the C2 Makerspace facility in central Wisconsin. C2 Makerspace is operated by Shiloh Bound a 501(c)3, UWSP Marshfield Campus, Mid-State Technical College, Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce, Industry Partners and local K-12 Schools. Their mission is to guide individuals to creatively explore career pathways and personal development through high-tech, hands-on learning. The makerspace is a community-driven space where people of all ages and skill levels can come together to learn, create, and innovate. They offer a variety of workshops, classes, and events that focus on everything from 3D printing and robotics to woodworking and textiles.

The C2 Makerspace is a space for individuals to learn, train and explore. By 6th grade, students are already making career decisions. C2 will focus on 5th-12th graders on exposure to local fields and provide them opportunity to create projects using technology that they may not have access to at school. They are developing the next generation of local workforce in Wisconsin and Omega is excited to be a part of it! As a community sponsor, Omega was happy to make the cash donation to the C2 Makerspace facility/program.
